Room Attendant (m/f/d) for Summer Season

Position Overview:

Hotel Silberhorn & Spa, a renowned hotel located in the heart of the beautiful Swiss Alps in Wengen, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Room Attendant (m/f/d) to join our team for the summer season. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Thorough cleaning and preparation of guest rooms, suites, public areas, and hotel chalets in accordance with hygiene and quality standards
• Assisting with the setup and decoration of rooms and public spaces, taking into account seasonal themes and special guest requests
• Promptly reporting maintenance issues or irregularities to the technical team or housekeeping supervisor
• Restocking guest supplies, linens, towels, and amenities as required
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene protocols and supporting routine room checks and quality controls
• Safe and appropriate handling of cleaning agents, materials, and equipment
• Assisting with stock control and replenishment of housekeeping supplies when needed
• Close cooperation with front office and maintenance teams to ensure smooth and seamless guest service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized with a sense of responsibility
• Basic communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues
